Meet Dr. Tuzo

Dr. Tuzo is a graduate of Towson State University, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has extensive experience in both large and small animal medicine; and for the last 6 years has chosen to focus exclusively on small animal medicine and surgery.

During her career she has been employed in both private practice, and as an animal shelter veterinarian. In addition, for over 10 years Dr. Tuzo has volunteered with Rural Area Veterinary Services, helping to provide medical care for animals in impoverished and remote communities in the United States and abroad. She also donates her services to local animal welfare groups and humane societies working to improve the lives of animals in the Baltimore area.

Dr. Tuzo is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association; the Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association; the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association; the American Association of Feline Practitioners; and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
